A small army of Toronto Commuters are easing traffic congestion in the downtown areas by walking to work.
Definitely in the downtown Toronto rush hour the fastest way between point A and point B is by walking and one can even grab a coffee or doughnut along the way, something car drivers would love to do stuck in traffic.
Research is showing that increasing numbers of Condo residents want to live close to their jobs and recent studies are proving this is now the case.
From my own observations of the many downtown Toronto Condos I find some residents return to their work after hours and also attend classes because of the convenience. It is difficult to replicate after a 45 minute Go Train Ride.No one wants to return to work for an hour or so to work on an ongoing project.
Its appears our new Condo Commuters have it both ways as now entirely new neighbourhoods like King Street West and Liberty Village are becoming most convenient with new shops, restaurants, bars and 24 hour supermarkets moving in as well.
